Hello,
I have made a drawing with krita and I need to save it in .tif format.
I am using a Samsung tab with the application krita.
I am able to save .kra, .jpeg and .png file.
But when I try to save in .tif file I have the error “permission denied : the creation of the file by krita is not allowed”. I tried to choose different option but I obtained this error each time.
Please could you help me?
Clémence
Hello @Clemchay and welcome to the forum!
In Krita you should try to do “File” >> “Export…”, and I hope for you that you are able to select TIF-Format via Export. But I think it should be there. If it would not be possible, you can save it as KRA-File and send it to me, and I’ll convert it to TIF and send it back to you.
If you’ve got further questions, feel free to ask here in the forum, it is a very supportive and welcoming community with experts in many fields of digital art, the most questions get at least an answer, whether the answer fits the question is not always certain.

Yes, this seems to be a bug on Android Krita. I would make a bug report here:
You can’t even get around it via render animation cause that is broken too(there is already a report for this one)
It’s already fixed, but it didn’t look like it got backported: Hack: workaround file being write protected on ChromeOS (7175ca9c) · Commits · Graphics / Krita · GitLab
EDIT: actually, it did, it should be fixed in Krita 5.0.
