Is there a search bar or a shortcut that open a search box to search for a filter or a tool or action in the menu or so I am not able to find it
(as a reference in GIMP it’s in the “help” menu → “search or run command” or the / shortcut)

It will be introduced in krita 5 in August under a ctrl + enter shortcut.
You can check it out downloading krita next from the website.

I have downloaded Krita 5 pre-alpha sadly it’s the same shorcut that my OS for the same purpose, and it pops up over Krita 5…
I think so - in configure krita > settings > keyboard shortcuts.
What system is it? Win10? Did you download a portable version there? Btw you should backup your resources first…
No it’s not there, I found a data base explorer, but it’s not a “search” engine, also in “help” there is nothing related to “search”
No, not Win10, but Ubuntu-MATE, I downloaded the .Appimage directly from Krita’s website (it’s very nice to see that Krita has an .Appimage it’s way better than a snap or a flatpack IMHO)
