Hi! Is there a way to select multiple layers directly on the canvas ( not in the layer docker) by dragging the box selection? I know I can select multiple layers by pressing R+Shift+LMB but very often I have a ton of layers and it would be very convenient to be able to drag a selection and select everything in the selected area at once.
I don’t know of such a feature, but when you have a lot of layers, you could simply group them and then select and drag the entire group.

It seems you can’t do what you’d like to be able to do.
What you can do is press and hold R+Shift+LMB (or R+Shift+stylus-touch) and then quickly sweep the cursor over an area of interest, like scanning it, then every layer with content in that area will be selected.
You can do that over more than one separate area in separate selection sessions.

Oh, that’s a nice feature something like a “paint” selection. It is even better for my workflow because is more precise and flexible than box selection. Thank you very much for your help
