Selection and transform follows the canvas rotaion.

This is a request for development since it’s bugged me for years. While drawing I usually need to make a selection to transform a certain area. It works very well - if I have no rotation of the canvas active.

The rectangular selection tool or the transformation tool are always aligned with the canvas, not the current rotation view. This is not useful. Say I draw a head in an angle, so it’s tilted. And I’d like to adjust the proportions of the eyes horizontally. So I zoom in, rotate and make a selection. If I use rectangular selection, it will be tilted (relatively speaking), since it aligns with the canvas. I can not make the rectangular selection in a i.e. 30 degrees.

The same goes for the transformaion tool.

Maybe I have missed a setting or option, hopefully someone can guide me. If not, then I think this would be a awsome feature.

Do a selection, then go to the global selection mask and transform the selection mask to whatever degrees you want?

The Transform, Rectangular Selection, Elliptical Selection (that feels strange) and the Mirror tools align with a rotated canvas.
Maybe there could be a toggle option to align with canvas or workspace?
