So I don’t usually upload into the WIP thread, but I thought I’d try it this month. 
Taking inspiration from @WingedWarrior’s current August/September Challenge: Waterfalls - I figured I’d work on both challenges in the same picture (assuming that’s not against any rules 
).
Fell in love with a photo of a cozy waterfall locale and decided to give two sisters a fun getaway. Will probably give them some sort of backpack or walking stick to show they’ve been hiking… hence the scenic break. (Though one could argue that the hike itself is a break 
)
Admittedly I’m going with kind of a messy style, purposefully trying to keep it loose. Not my norm… so we’ll see how it goes. 
Anyway, I’m curious to see if I can keep up with the WIPs! (Not to mention finish 
)

The tight hallway is perfect. The nurse’s slouched position nearly filling the cramped space is such excellent ‘story-telling’.

For the second half of the month I’m thinking of creating a night scene with a little black cat taking a break sitting on a bed in a highrise appartment looking out over a cityscape.

The narrow hallway wasn’t intentional. I also noticed it after I got some color on there
I widened it some since then. I get my ideas from bits and pieces of a whole bunch of different references, so gotta be mindful of size relativity and placement of all the objects.

I would like my “Time for a Break” piece to tell its own story for the viewer. What story does it tell you? Depending on what you see and feel, I may modify it.

Just a rough thumbnail. I think a lot of women would enjoy it - sitting in a bath in a nice chalet, holding a glass of wine, enjoying the warmth and cosines of the place and the winter scenerщ

I’m not sure why I’m having a hard time planning an idea for this one. I was thinking mascots or superheroes and then I thought about this as a possibly interesting piece for the topic. Donkey and elephant in a break room sharing a snack. It could work…wip
