Having fun with folds here! These were drawn mostly in June of 2024, after my work on the doll. (I think her puffy sleeves got me interested in drawing more folds :laughing:). I definitely look forward to getting better with fabric, when I can be inspired by, not bound to, great reference shots. It’s just too much fun!

And I’ve got some stages this time for one of them. (I always enjoy when I remember to take WIP photos of my non-digital sketches! :grinning_face:) Admittedly, the last three are extremely similar. I think the primary difference is finishing off the hands.

Is this a doll for having references? I’ve been thinking of something like this.

Good question! So actually I was referring to a different sketch where I did reference a doll. These sketches were based off photos or paintings.
But yeah, it is super fun and I look forward to seeing your playing with it!:+1:
