Hello there! So… I’ve recently installed Krita 4.4.8 in my laptop.

I know I can change brush size by moving the slider in the top bar. But I prefer shortcuts> In this case, is pressing down Shift Key + dragging my mouse to decrease or increase it.

But in my case, what it does is activating the Straight tool every time I press the Shift button. Then makes a straight line with the brush I have set.

Hello - welcome to the forum.

Can you check your shortcut / mouse pen combo under Canvas Input.

Menu > Setting > Configure Krita > Canvas Input Settings

You might have different configuration there → Where Shift + LMB drag is activating Line tool.
Look Under Tool Invocation for that and change it to something else.

Then check under “Change Primary Setting” and look if Shift + LMB is there. [That’s the one that controls brush size if you are in brush mode]

Thank you Kaichi! That helped me to solve my problem.

Thanks!
