Let me introduce you to Nebrïu y Ginia. These characters were thought to be part of characters in a funny animation serie about space. I wanted to do something space related because I rarely do characters or design from space. The turn around was made because at some point I thought about do them in 3D.

This is Gusupu Pan. It’s one of my original character most loved by me. I’ve workend on the design for many years and actually this is not Gusupu’s current appearance. Gusupu is like a forest spirit that take care of plants. I have a whole story about him and also some little animations.
This is Benjamin. A sweet, curious and introvert kid. He like astronomy and can spend hours looking to the night sky. When I decided to design this character my goals was to achieve a character who have goat’s eyes and insect parts. I know that many people don’t like or are afraid of goat’s eyes but I’m fascinated with them xD I was really happy when I finish this design because I had a hard time deciding his profile. I wish I could give him a whole comic or animated serie hahahaha
This is a concept for a character in an illustrated book. It’s not still published but the whole book is already done I can’t wait to published so I can release all the illustrations because I’m so in love with them.
This character is the “Wind”. I draw him with a hat because I thought a hat is the best object to illustrate the wind because if it’s wind and you’re wearing a hat you need to be careful hahaha It was a full joy drawing him and all the process of the illustrations because I personalized all the brushes I used on them.
A little of wordplay with Mouse and musketeer I made this character and I think many artist do mouse as fencer. I had lot of fun doing it. In this case the sketches were done in traditional with (right now my fav) tricolor pencil
Saumier was a character born in my dreams. I dreamed with him, he was a puppet for a stop-motion movie. The moment I wake up I made a sketch. In the same dream I saw other puppets but it wasn’t as clear as Saumier. Someone royal like, with a strong sense of honor. A bit of a sadness in his personality shows that something dark happened to him before.
Development of skin texture and clothes depending on the status. The story behind this character design is a brief about a frog society which is like a religious/shaman culture. I had a fantastic time designing this.
Here’s Mephisteres and Edahi. They’re designed for a contest. The first part was the character design. The second part the storyboard and the third step was an animation. The animation was a total fail xDD Anyways I was really happy to be able to be in the final were I meet another wonderful artists.
A little bit of the story. Mephisteres is an aspirant magician and Edahi his spiritual companion. As an aspirant he needs to learn new magic recipes which involve to life many adventures to get the ingredients of the recipes.
Here comes Basil. It’s a character design based on a briefing I made for my students. A character for a cartoon serie and the world that character lives in is a world where living beings are an hybrid between humans and plants. Here you can see some of the previous sketches until I reach the style of the character and some of the colour tests for the clothes.
Jomma de Luna, a Moon tax agency worker who dreams to go to the beach on Earth xDD This character was the result of a challenge in IG where every new comment is like a briefing for the design of the character. A really fun exercice for character design

Today I come with a character design that have as inspiration two of my most favorite: Nudibranch and mushrooms Nothing much to say because the draw was just letting me flow with whatever I wanted to do. I really like the textures
