RMB to see the lock options where the cursor is

Or you can simply change to normal blending mode in the upper part of the UI

Do you remember a Talk we had in Madrid about simplicity? i see is something we see in a different way. For me if user interested in real pencils is changing again and again the gray tone, that is not useful.
I am recording already the video so everything is explained there if needed.
oh! and i have some requests that could be useful after all this investigation about patterns.

this thread is getting interesting because is that Wider view that a lot of users are giving what improves the community.

Wow! @RamonM Wow! just looked at these … I think I LOVE 'EM!!! Will have to do some more testing/trialing but as you may know I keep searching for brushes that work more like pencils…there are some nice ones I’ve found (including some of the early Krita ones). These too look great…will need some more playing around but after an initial run-through of them I’m liking the way they blend/buildup…the one I can’t believe is an ‘Electric Pencil Eraser’ LOL! Never seen that one before in a digital brush!   :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

i have a doubt In your previous post of the image of the brushes you were creating there were different brushes from the ones you initially shared here, may I ask if there were any changes? or did you possibly discard them?
In any case the image you shared seems to have interesting different brushes from the bundle file. @RamonM

They are basically the same brushes. I changed the icons and i created an special eraser, the Electric eraser. I was showing an idea about how to organize the pack. At the end the pack has it’s own tag SK and the order is different. That’s it. Enjoy it

I really love it that you included erasers in the pack. I’m using the set right now. It’s so nice to set the preset docker to SK and the erasers are right there when I need them.

They are a bit Special  because they keep the grain, and also you can control the Vpower in electric eraser. I explain that in the video, Thanks for using them

With some small tweaking to fit my personal flavor, mostly scale down the grain size and check the random boxes in pattern for some of the brushes, I think it’s fantastic.
There isn’t any good pencil brushes in paintstorm, or CSP.

Thanks @RamonM

I have tried them out, textures are great, but i struggle a little with them for one major reason:
some pencils adjust the value, so what i pick and what gets put down never match.

Out of curiosity, why create eraser brushes? Normal brushes erase with the press of a button, and immediately we have the same texture and edge control.

To me, these alternative erasers seemed more natural than the “E” pencil." The pencil, under equal conditions, paints and erases the same way, getting a gray mass, the texture effect is self-neutralizing, and with weak pressing, but prolonged use, it turns around. Alternative erasers retain the logic of filling the texture, there are areas that are difficult to fill with color, and it is also difficult to erase with an alternative eraser(а kind of porous paper effect), and the “erasing pencil” will smear these areas to a uniform gray level

I agree. The 2 erasers included in this set are awesome. They add to the feeling of working with real pencils and erasers.

Thanks for making the brushes, @RamonM !

Here are my quick random drawings.
I tried the brushes randomly but I did not use the eraser.
The brushes feel real good to use, I think I get the “natural” and “non-digital” feeling.
On the other hand I will need more hours to “understand” them, because I don’t have experiences with these real tools.

I also have the recorded timelapse. If they could also be useful for the video please let me know.

What type of lineart pencil did you use in the first drawing?

These pencils are fun! I mostly used the 08 8B Pencil and the erasers. I LOVE the erasers.

I like this a lot, would you send them to me by email, and give me permission to use them in the video?
