Inspired by Promising Young Woman.
Only a sketch becuase I want to keep working on it. But I also really liked how it was turning out and wanted to post it right away (I don’t know if I’ll have time to finish it until monday?)

These are all terrible. All 3 of them. But this is a sketchbook after all, and these are ones I did in Krita a few weeks ago.

Not all drawings can be winners. I include my not so great ones too, just to help people understand we all have our off days.

I agree completely. I do a lot of sketches on paper too, and in all of my sketchbooks I always think, “It’s a sketchbook, not a drawing book”.
I checked out your portfolio a bit by the way. You have some nice stuff there. Some of it is very colorful. I like that.
A Study of Rocks 1
Nothing crazy. Just a simple speed paint / speed sketch. Done in about half an hour. It was fun to do something besides stare at that candle for hours and hours. (See previous post, “It’s Hard To Light A Candle”).
