A study I did recently. I try to learn more brush control, hair and skin rendering. It’s based on a reference, but this time I tried to figure out more colors by myself. I hope it’s appropriate to be posted here.

I really like the hair, especially the braids and the shadows they cast. You’ve captured them beautifully on canvas!
Is it because I used to have braids just as long myself?
