That’s because the smart patch tool bug hasn’t been dealt with yet.
You’ll get an email notification from the bug reporting system when it has (assuming you’ve chosen to recieve notifications).
Extract it and run the krita link inside it.
That will share your existing configurations and you can use it to apply the smart patch tool.
Only use it for the smart patch tool though and go back to 5.x for other things.
omg, thank you so muchhhh!
i hope so that on June, we can have the best version which have fix bug. because the clone brush is not working like it was.
Sorry to tell you, but the portable version is build for Windows, it won’t run on Android. As far as I know, there can only be one Krita at a time on Android. I guess that @AhabGreybeard has overlooked this.

Well, even if our developers are sometimes very fast and perform true miracles, some things take longer.
And although I immediately confirmed your bug report and wrote a few words about it, so it should be considered “Confirmed”, I was not yet able to write a supplementary report that meets the requirements of a proper bug report. Your (first?) bug report was unfortunately very short. But better short than not at all! By the way, this was also my “motto” when I confirmed your report.
If you are interested and want to know how developers would like to see such a bug report, you could consult the following guides for a future report or a supplement to this report.
There isn’t an Android apk for the 4.4.8 on the archives, but there is one for 4.4.7, here: https://download.kde.org/Attic/krita/4.4.7/krita-arm64-v8a-4.4.7-release.apk
If there’s an error when you try to install it is because your tablet is older and requires another version of the apk, this one: https://download.kde.org/Attic/krita/4.4.7/krita-armeabi-v7a-4.4.7-release.apk
But try the first one and if it install normally them it’s done
Might be interesting to uninstall the current app before installing the old one, keep in mind you will lose your configurations.
You can also install this one, it’s a Development build of the 5.1 version, you can install it alongside the old 4.4.7 as it install as a different app, and have the two on your tablet. Plus this one have the new gestures implemented already (two fingers to undo, three fingers to redo, one finger to Pop Pallet, etc) and can all be configurable.
I should get into the habit of reading posts completely, like the second post by @hzenmac, so I would have been spared this faux pas. I think I’m getting old.
oh, thank you so much, my tablet is samsung galaxy tab s7+, but when i extract AhabGreybread’s link, i cant run the file insinde. when i use my pc, it can running normally.
the link u post here. i can run on my pc but the tablet cant, haiz, sometime i hate tablet so much.
I don’t know the language (Vietnamese, I guess?), but normally this warning in the App Store means, that it is not approved by Google’s App Store and you have to trust the one offering this App. If you trust Krita and want to have Krita, you should install it.
Especially when I’m thinking about the armies of “approved” Apps they declared later on as not safe, their approval is questionable per se.
