Snapping guides to rulers

Is there a way to make the guidelines (that are dragged from the rulers) snap to the ruler Units?
Example I want to snap my guides to certain lengths along the rulers (this is really important when drawing something to scale as in technical drawings).
Here I am trying to make them snap to a length of like 2.5 cm but they are never snapping. How can I be able to do this? Or-
is there a way to “insert guide at” a specific length, this would be so useful if I need to snap to an arbitrary length that is not an X cm or X.5 cm.

Hi @NonLethalGhost - Welcome.

I would add the grids and guide docker and set the spacing accordingly on the guides tab (I have it set to 100 px here and changed the colour to white).

Then go to the grid tab and check “show grid” and “snap to grid.”

The guides snap to pixel boundaries so you can position them precisely if you do a calculation for the pixel position then zoom in to position them.
They are stored/remembered in the saved .kra file so you can make templates for a particular repeated use.
