Snowy Art Challenge March 2026

Hi all!!

This challenge is to create an image of a person/s dancing in the snow. You can start it now and submit it March 1st.

Rules:

• It must include snow in some way.
• It must include a person or fairy or whatever character you want
• It may not have any NSFW content
• You can only post up to two images
• Hide your image so you don’t influence others (hit the + button in your intry/reply and select ‘hide details’)
• Challenge duration: 2026-03-01T06:00:00Z→2026-03-31T05:00:00Z

I don’t think hiding your image should be a rule, you know, we all bring our own sensitivity to the table and it’s not like we’re spoiling everything for others. If we post our art online, it’s to show it! We don’t need to hide it in the Monthly Challenge, so why here?

So you don’t influnce other people. They might see your original image and think, “Oh, I could make something like that,” and steal your idea. So I think you should hide it.

Yeah, I had already understood that, thanks! But if you hide it, they can still be curious, click on it to reveal and steal it anyway. Hiding the image is NOT made for that purpose, it is to protect sensitive people against potentially offensive content. But it’s an annoyance for people who just want to browse the entries.

Okay. If you don’t want to hide it, don’t. But if it’s hidden, it’s less temptation.

Hey! I haven’t forgotten this challenge!

Here’s my entry: Legolas dancing in the snow on the Caradhras mountain, as Tolkien’s elves have apparently such a light step that they don’t even sink down into the snow!

Sorry that your challenge didn’t have more interest from the community @BadGirl2023, I really wish there were more initiatives like yours in this section, that’s why I wanted to participate, even if I’m the only one…

Hey! I honestly thought this challenge ended already so I didn’t make anything till now, but I just wanted to submit a little somethin’ I cooked up today. Dance in the Snowfall

Hey! I just saw this was active a couple days ago & wanted to join! Drew this today & really enjoyed myself. (sadly I’m just a little too late , but wanted to share anyways) I totally agree with @smeep. Thanks @BadGirl2023 for hosting! This was a nice prompt!
