I don’t have a specific brush, even though I have like 12 different brush packs from different people (like Rakurri), I still haven’t found my preferred brush. I do mostly traditional because I like the appearance graphite pencils and ink make on paper and so dar I haven’t found any that mimics that texture at all.
how do you blend in krita using those brushes? without a smudge tool, I usually end up using the paper stump tool haha
Just a minimal roundbrush.
Honestly, having no experience in traditional painting, I tend to not mix colors much when painting in Krita. Rather, I pick the color that I want and put it on top with a regular Normal blending mode but low opacity. When I do that, I use a brush with variable opacity and some texture, according to the need.
If I really want to mix colors on canvas, the very strong mixer is the default brush k) Blender Blur, I use it to get a perfectly smooth gradient. And from David’s pack, there are a few brushes with white paint icons, these don’t add color, but provide a slightly textured blending of existing colors.
