Continuing dusting my old files, here is some concept art I did for the preproduction of a short film titled “Solstice”. The main goal was to explore possible designs for the main character and her old dog, as well as establishing the mood and tone for the project. From early sketches to a fully rendered “keyshot” painting. Hope you like it

“Ana, a young woman, sits at the edge of her bed. Her loyal canine friend, Dante, rests by her side enjoying a melancholic tune coming out of Ana’s guitar playing. They both share this intimate moment of peace together, warmly caressed by the twilight.”
