On my Ubuntu 18.04LTS (RTX 2060) Krita 4.3.0 picking wrong color with factory settings. There is no opacity in layer or brush. I am really confused because I started actively using Krita recently…
Hi
Select Color picker tool, go in tools options, and ensure that radius is set to 1px, and blend at 100%
These tools setting are used when you pick color.

Also see if it is because of a layer above. I sometimes get the wrong colour, because I have a layer above set to a blending mode or something like that!
If you want to color pick from ONLY the current layer, take a look here:
Setting -> Configure Krita -> Canvas Input Settings -> Alternate Invocation, there you can see what shortcut you can use for “Pick Foreground Color from Current Layer”, that will pick the current layer’s color, not the whole image including layers above! (I don’t remember the default one as I changed mine)
Yes! It’s my fall. I created many layers and one of them blending with whole canvas with blue color.
I just didn’t expect that Krita take in account all layers not only one that selected) Now I better understand how Krita works) Thanks for the help!
Should I delete this topic?
Not at all. It gives important and useful information to everybody, especially people who experience similar situations.
That was very useful, thanks!
I use the shortcut ‘brush tool + ctrl’ a lot to pick colors.
However, when I’m in a multiply layer, the collected color is darker. So I found out now that I can add another shortcut.
For example: ‘Brush tool + ctrl + right button’
