Some of my custom shortcuts won't work

Hi everyone!

I recently updated to Krita 5.3.1. I run Windows 11.

A few of my shortcuts aren’t working but, confusingly, some of them do.

I made some custom shortcuts for “Next keyframe” (“G” key) and “Previous keyframe” (“F” key) and they don’t work. Other shortcuts work just fine, like tool shortcuts I created (I switched to “L” instead of “Q” for contiguous select tool, for instance).

I’ve tried manually entering the shortcuts again. They were listed as being there but I went ahead and retyped them into the Create Shortcuts window just in case. Also tried restarting computer, Krita, etc, several times.

Any other ideas?

I’ve just done that on version 5.3.1 Appimage on Linux:

G and F shortcuts

They work fine as long as there is an animated layer selected using the layers docker or the timeline.

‘G’ and ‘F’ are not used in the Canvas Input Settings (as far as I know) so there should be no problem using them as keyboard shortcuts after their previous default assignments have been removed by clicking Reassign when you see the Shortcut Conflict warning.

I’m puzzled as to why they don’t work for you.
Do you have them listed as I do in the screenshot above?
