I come from Photoshop, and whenever I’m not happy with the way the polygon selection is going, I can click BACKSPACE to remove selection nodes one by one, beginning with the last one created.
In Krita, BACKSPACE is assigned to “Fill with background color.”
Is there a way do do that in Krita? Maybe I’m using the wrong keywords, but I haven’t been able to find an answer to that.
Shift+Z will do it.
If the cursor has moved slightly from the last clicked vertex position, you’ll have to click it twice to make it seem to take effect.
Try it and you’ll figure it out.
I made the plunge to Krita a week ago when I finally decided to get a pen tablet. So, I’m trying not only to get familiar with the program, but with a tool I’ve never used before… while at the same time weaning myself from PS.
I have a long way to go yet, but this deceptively simple tip will be of great help to me. It was one of those things I used a lot in PS and didn’t know how to do in Krita.
