Steam notifications, Windows screenshot tool and Windows alarm clock cause drag and ALT shortcuts to stop working

Type of device: Display tablet
Brand and version of the device: Huion Kanvas GT-221 Pro
System: Windows 10

Description of the issue: Hello! I just installed Krita and I have been able to figure out most issues except this one.
Whenever any kind of pop-up appears on my screen, i’m not able to zoom in, change brush size, drag the canvas, or colorpick. I can click on the corresponding buttons and they work fine (with either mouse or stylus), but the hotkeys related to my mouse/stylus stop working. IE: I can press [ to decrease the brush size, but I cannot shift + drag; I can move the sliders, but i cannot space + drag; CTRL key doesnt seem to work at all. Everything else seems to work completely normally, I can paint with opacity and pressure, create layers, etc.
So far i’ve found that steam notifications, the windows screenshot tool (win + shift + s) and windows alarm clock all trigger this lock (edit: also windows sticky notes). Only way to fix it has been to restart the app. I thought it might have something to do with focusing out of the window? but tabbing out and back in, clicking the top bar, minimizing and maximizing again, etc haven’t worked, only restarting works.

This might not be the full extent of the issue as I installed the software for the first time today, I havent changed any settings other than Canvas Graphics Acceleration due to lag, but if I encounter any more info ill make sure to edit and add it.

Thank you very much for your time, hopefully its an easy fix and i can finally jump ship from adobe and windows :eyes:

 Hello @Dustfinity, and welcome to the forum!

In the case you have the Tencent chat apps QQ or WeChat installed, or Discord, then completely terminate them while Krita is running and hope that it fixes your issue. Terminate means to shut them down completely, they must not be found in the task manager, minimizing isn’t sufficient.
These apps are known to interfere with Krita’s shortcuts (and other apps should be affected too).

Thank you!
Out of those apps I only have Discord, im always set as “do not disturb” so i dont receive notifications, I’ve tested and it hasnt been interfering with Kritas input at all thankfully.
Is this a known issue on the Linux version aswell? I can disable notifications on Steam and the other apps are windows-only so i can probably find an alternative
Thank you very much for your time!

I named these apps because they are known to interfere with shortcuts, if they also interfere with pop-ups, I don’t know.
