Your lightning is well lit! You’ve successfully recreated how clouds appear when beside a bolt. Most people who draw or paint lightning only consider tinting wherever it strikes (at most).
Thanks. This picture is based on a big storm I have seen last year. I had some short videos of it and there weren’t that many bolts visible, actually. It was mostly clouds lighting up here and there. So I tried to recreate this effect.
