Hi all, is there a way to have a stroke eraser similar to the type of eraser that can be found in stuff like OneNote or the Windows Snipping Tool? (an eraser that only deletes an entire stroke of a brush instead of a little area). Wondering if there is a built-in functionality or add-on that exists for that…
I’ve never used either of those tools so…
Have you tried the undo shortcut (the default is ctrl+z).

I would guess those software use vector paths to store brushstrokes. You can do something similar in Krita by using Vector Layers and the Freehand Path Tool to draw, then using the Select Shapes Tool to select a stroke to delete. Raster (pixel-based) brushstrokes cannot be stored this way.

yh the undo button essentially does exactly the effect I look for, but only on the last brush stroke i did ![]()
