Didn’t try to get too detailed with this one, trying to stay a bit looser. Playing with a couple of different brushes I’ve been trying out.
If you’re not familiar, the Belvedere Torso is an ancient Greek statue that’s lived in the Vatican for the last 500 years or so. It’s known to have inspired a lot of great artists from the Renaissance onward, including Michelangelo and Raphael.
So yeah… seemed a worthy subject to study
