Stylus offset

So 2 days ago Krita started to have a offset to my stylus input. I reinstalled my tablet drivers and it fixed it for a single day. now it is broken again. and my drivers usually never game me issues ever for years so I don’t get it. to test how “broken” are my tablet drivers I went to Gimp, Medibang and Clip Studio Pro and all of them work with my “broken drivers”. This seems to be a problem with Krita, if even Gimp works this is. What can I do to fix it without having to reinstall my drivers which require 3 to 4 restarts each time which is a big pain to do.

I should add that this offset only happens on the canvas not inside the menus as it only uses the mouse input there. so it is stylus input only.

OS: windows 10
tablet: Wacom Cintq 24 pro

My sw/hw are different, but if it helps and if I understand your problem correctly, I notice this behavior when I set the pen on my tablet configuration with “mouse mode” enabled, so I have absolutely to disable it in my configuration.

EDIT: You could also try to enable “Windows Ink” in Krita and Tablet configuration (restart Krita and test) and, if it doesn’t work, disable it in Krita (so set “Wintab”) and Tablet configuration (restart Krita and test).

In Krita you set “Wintab” or “Windows Ink” going to
menu “Settings” > “Configure Krita…” > “Tablet Settings”

(I have added the complete information for any other topic readers)

(Now I’m using Win11/Krita 5.2.11/UGEE tablet)
