I was wondering if there were any suminigashi brushes anywhere for this software.
Thanks!
Hi
What are suminigashi brushes?
Do you have an example of what this kind of brushes produce ?
Grum999
Hello @thundercatd4 and welcome to the forum!
Unfortunately I am not aware of any brushes with this form of liquid ink painting, anyway I have never seen “Suminagashi Ink” brushes for Krita, and I am aware of many brushes.
@Grum999, it is a kind of liquid ink floating together into itself.

I have used these before and love them. I really don’t want to have to get Painter just to get the brushes. I love them that much.
Thanks for the reply! I appreciate your giving me that information.
Hi.
I have checked the video and I don’t feel you will get any such dedicated brush set inside KRITA,
at least for now!
But KRITA 5 onwards, you may get partially similar effects from different custom brush sets / bundles.
You can try out these sets mentioned in the attached image as starter pack.
Probably you will not get exactly what you are looking for.
But I guess if you like to experiment, you may find something surprisingly new and unique inside Krita.
At least it happened to me and I wish you can also find something like that
.
Thank you! Where can I find these brushes to download?
Impressionism brushes on YouTube (free)
I couldn’t find the Digital Atelier brush bundle (DA in @ari’s photo) but here’s a link to the brush resources in this forum:
https://krita-artists.org/c/resources/brushes-and-bundles/32
You can download Odzuki’s bundle from here, but the whole topic is interesting as he introduces the brushes individually and demonstrates some of them, it’s free:
Ramon’s Impression bundle you can find, along with many more resources from him, on this site and everything there is also free:
And Ramon’s Digital Atelier bundle is available for purchase at Gumroad:
Then there is also the opportunity to discover many resources here via the forum:
And if you still enjoy searching and trying out, you can discover tons more resources for Krita via the following addresses, but often the authors have copied from each other and you can find some bundle on almost every page:
https://improveyourdrawings.com/2019/02/25-brushes-and-brush-kits-for-krita/
The following page was said to be broken the other day. If you want some of it and the associated link is broken, send me a PM and I’ll upload it to my cloud:
Many of David’s brushes are also already included in Krita:

Sorry,I should have attached the links for these bundles or at least given detailed explanation !
My fault
!
For a short period,DA bundle was available for free,so I mistook it as a free bundle.
Currently it is available with other bonus materials against a fee and the other two bundles are free.
Impressionism bundle is available from the link provided by @sooz (Thank you !).
The remaining bundles (with many other great bundle links) can be available from the links provided by @Michelist (Thank you for providing so many resource links, must explore them
!)
I hope you will get something what you are looking for.
