Well, I suppose the other one is more imaginative, but this one is on another level to my eyes. In fact, I was thinking it might be my favourite of all the pieces you’ve posted so far!

Wow, thank you @Mythmaker ! This painting is one of those that you start without really having a plan of how it will end up. It’s funny how some our best pieces come together unexpectedly. I started with a calico cat. Since I’ve been obsessed with light and shadow lately, I decided on some strong back-lighting so added a window… then thought of November’s theme and grunged it up a bit and added overgrowth. As a kid, I played in an old abandoned farmhouse, so I added things I remember, like old doll parts and other junk on the floor.
