It’s beautiful and works for me on two levels. On the surface is a serene sunset scene then over to the right, where the cats and the dark corner are, I sense a story about to unfold. Nice work!
There is s much going on in this picture just as part f the scene. How do you work out what peripheral things to put in the scene? My version would be a few houses with bare walls, a boat and a cat.
That’s an easy featured for me, but maybe let’s submit it to the June/July batch? The current one is “crowded” already 
Ooh, please don’t hold back, @YRH. It would be great to really build up the monthly nominations to the point where there are 20 or more.
But there are only 5 “winners”!

I was inspired by real places, I got some details from my own photos. I was looking for photos of similar locations. I was thinking what other details would tell more about this place so that the eye would stop for them
