Super noob, is mouse cursor meant to be showing?

HI I have a drawing tablet monitor which after some tweaks is working very well.
One thing which is slightly distracting its showing the mouse cursor when I am drawing on the graphics monitor.
Is this normal?
Just be nice not having that symbol in the way when I want to do something detailed.

 Hello @hobbowizard and welcome to the forum!

I’m not sure what exactly happens on your side. Do you mean to have an additional mouse cursor to your brush cursor, or is it just the brush cursor you dislike?
If the latter then the fix should be an easy one, just go into Krita’s configuration via ‘‘Settings’’ >> ‘‘Configure Krita’’ >> ‘‘General’’ and there, in the tab ‘‘Cursor’’, you can set it to your liking.
But if you have a second mouse pointer then I would assume you are using a “fancy” gaming mouse with a poorly programmed driver application, especially the very cheap ones with a plethora of features are known to be very buggy and show the craziest bugs.

If my assumptions are not what you are after or do not help to solve your issue, then we need more information from you.

Please name the version of Windows you use.

Also name the exact version number of Krita you use.

From where have you got your copy of Krita? E.g. Krita’s homepage, Steam, Microsoft Store, Epic Store, and if somewhere else and then from where?

Please upload a full screenshot of your Krita window showing the issue.
But because Windows unfortunately is unable to make screenshots including the cursor, you need an app able doing this. If you don’t have and know such an app then a good option would be the small and free picture viewer IrfanView, there you need to use the keyboard-shortcut C to call a menu that allows setting up the conditions for the screenshot to take, it is also described in its Help function. By the way, you call that Help function the same way as in Krita, using the shortcut F1.
Do not cut off anything of the screenshot, so that your complete Krita window is shown, including status bar and title bar.
