Random ahhh King in Yellow art.
(No, this has no relation to he Wifies video, but I really like his addition to the mythos)
I am in the middle of a re-read of The King in Yellow, and I had this depiction of the king in my head that I wanted to draw out, not as some super crazy cosmic being, but more like something that feels like nothing. The only real features of this king are the pallid mask he hides behind, and the sorry excuse for a crown he wears, yet those who read about him in the play are captivated, crawling back to a glory they know does not exist.
Sorry for the kind of rant, as you can probably tell, I am fascinated with these types of stories!
