During the lockdowns some friends and I did a complete playthrough of Terraria. It was a lot of fun, and deserved some commemorative fanart!
I initially drew the lineart at the top end of this year, but then just couldn’t figure out how to color it—like always with dark-tone compositions. After some awkward reminders from my co-op partners I had to do something about it…
Lesson learned: I think I must start with a color comp thumbnail instead of getting carried away with the lineart if I am to get any better with dark paintings!
