hello, i saw that many people have this problem too, but none of the solutions didnt help
i use krita v5.0, and thumbnails dont show in file explorer (windows 10) even after enabling native file dialogues
i tried downloading shell extension, but it says i already have one
Try this: in Windows, go to Disk Cleanup. Make sure the âThumbnailsâ option is checked and press OK. I did this when Windows didnât display a thumbnail of a kra file⌠and it worked.
hello ive already asked this question but the topic got closed and i cant reply anymore
i found some other people who had the same problem and got it solved but none of their solutions seem to work
in windows 10 file explorer thumbnails for .kra files specifically dont show pictures
i use krita 5.0, downloaded from their website. shell extension is there, native file dialogs are enabled
i also use one drive, ive seen people saying to disable files on demand
i didnt do that, bcs it would download all the files but i enabled the âalways keep on this deviceâ property for the folder but i didnt work
i also did the disk cleanup thing and it also didnt work
can anyone help me please im desperate at this point
Can you give us a link to the closed topic, and the links to the other solutions that did not work for you?
And would you mind updating your Krita to version 5.2.2, because that is the most recent version, yours is more than two years old? Maybe the new version fixes your issue?
Ah, just saw that you mention OneDrive. Are the files whose thumbnails do not show up stored on OneDrive, or do they reside on your local HDD/SSD/Thumb-drive/whatever? Because if they are on OneDrive, it would explain why they do not show up. I know, there should be a way to make them show up, even on OneDrive, but therefore I have to find that solution.
Is there a folder whoâs content is not synchronised/backed-up to One Drive on your computer.
If so, try putting a .kra file in there to see if the thumbnail is displayed.
