Some drawings I did for a little story I had written about a planet where time only changes based on location.
Woah! That’s a really neat concept! These artworks depict the idea really well too!
Very clever! Excellent execution!
The drawings look cool, but your description begs a question; if you have to change location on the planet for the time to change, does that mean the planet doesn’t rotate?
Can one even act with time standing still?

I was thinking about that too while writing, but decided it’s too hard to make proper sense of actual universe laws, so I just went with a whimsy make believe planet (^~^;)ゞ
Time does pass on the planet, but the state of the sun doesn’t. I was just inspired by how different the times of day are and how they interact with the environments found on earth ![]()
Then it would be better described as a Planet where only one “side” can see its sun, but that forever.
This must be a horror planet, because nature always strives for balance, the sunny side must be quite hot, and this energy wants to migrate. A Planet where there are no changing but always fixed local seasons because the Planet does not rotate itself, it rotates only around, or following the turn of, its sun. One side has an extreme summer, the other an extreme winter, in between there will be crazy storm zones.
Maybe the Planet has an eye on this special side? ![]()

My story was much more lighthearted, but writing one where these more accurate aspects would play a role might be interesting as well! Reading your comment was very interesting ![]()
Lovely landscape paintings!
Thank you ![]()
I love how you manage to capture the essence simply without many details, so impressive.
That’s lovely of you to say, thanks ![]()
