When I made my recent brush kit, I changed the icons alone three or four time (to adapt their contrast or color family). Since Krita 5, it’s better to do it on the GUI directly than trying to edit the KPP preset files directly as an image. So, I had to do radomly “lower a value, higher a value” of the brush, so the preset was marked ‘dirty/changed’ with the little pen icon, all of that to unlock the ‘Overwrite Button’. It wasn’t a fluid workflow to do on 38 brushes. (also, renaming the brush doesn’t affect the way the brush is sorted on a tag, but that’s another issue that made me restart Krita a hundred of times to ‘refresh’ the database).
