Is there a way to terminate all or any of the mouse overs, helper tags, Tool tips, popup helper windows?
One example when I place the mouse pointer over a layer I do not a popup window magnifying the layer.
I do not need guiding helper window instructing me how to use the tools, In many applications like Krita
it is possible to turn off these helper suggestions in the settings or preferences. If there is a technical term
that I have mislabeled, that is used to describe any of the suggested possibilities above please let me know how to terminate any of them . Thank you Regards Zarb

I think the Tooltips are part of Qt and so can’t be removed.
The layer thumbnail popups in the Layers docker can be disabled:
Settings → Configure Krita → Display → Miscellaneous tab: ‘Hide layer thumbnail popup’.
