Touchscreen and gestures not working after using stylus

Type of device: 2-in-1 laptop
Brand and version of the device: Lenovo
System: Windows

Description of the issue: When I use Krita without my stylus (Wacom Bamboo ink) I am able to pinch swipe and poke at the screen and have it respond accordingly, but when I use my stylus the touchscreen becomes unresponsive to everything but the stylus for a few minutes. This only happens in Krita, I have checked and “Ignore touch input when using my pen” is disabled in my windows settings. I would very much like to use touch gestures while drawing like on a drawing tablet.

Maybe your Krita is set to WinTab?:

Menu:
Settings → Configure Krita → Tablet Settings:
In there change from WinTab to Windows 8+ Pointer Input → click OK → restart Krita.
Maybe that helps.

That was the first thing I tried when I ran into this issue.

Update: Everything randomly started working then stopped while I was trying to draw, when it happened my stylus started doing this

This was meant to be a straight line and it took Krita 30 seconds to process it.
