The transform tool acting weirdly or is it just me, I don’t really know lmao.
When I try to resize my drawing, it just comes to rotation tool or position moving tool. It takes time before actually appearing the tool I want to use, I don’t know if this is a bug or my mistake or if there is a way to fix this, I need help. The video quality is bad because i had to compress the video to upload it here
I fear you do not know the reason why there is a Tool Options Docker in Krita?
If you do not know it, you really should click on its tab in the upper right corner, and then you should click through Krita’s Toolbox on the left, Freehand Brush Tool, Transform Tool, whatever tool you like, and then you’ll see it offers you the options for your currently selected tool, the Transform Tool has several options you can choose from, Position, Rotation, Scale and Shear, and if you select the radio button there next to what you want you can transform what you want.
Then it will no longer be the tool that does things you don’t want, but the tool you need.
You may have a slow/weak computer.
With that canvas size, my cursor icon changes instantly between the different functions depending on where I place it.
I’m using the Linux appimage on a slow old desktop at the moment.
I notice you use Chrome-OS so maybe it’s a low power Chromebook?
The thing is, that in that docker in the upper right corner, under your overview picture, you can select that it should resize, or move, rotate, shear, with a click of a button. There you can tell the Transform Tool to resize, and you can even set an exact size if you want to, maybe you need to scroll in that docker down, to see all the options it offers, you made it so tiny that it is hard to use.
That docker can make it easier for you to resize than to resize with mouse-dragging. As I said already to many other users, that docker can be your best friend because it allows you fine-tuning of the selected tools on the left, Krita’s so-called Toolbox, for the Freehand Brush it offers smoothing, for the fill tool (paint bucket) it let you select which color to use foreground or background color or even a pattern, for each tool from the Toolbox it offers new options, so especially if your Pc is slow, this can help you.
