so i painted some strokes to take pictures of. i’m trying to reproduce an animated brush that is of the same resolution and quality as the animated brushes found in the RGBA pack.
very early start, i let the paint dry but i think i will take a picture while they are wet to see more gloss.

i think ill get there soon. it can be a challenge to remove the brush from the canvas but getting better.
you can get really cool blend mode effect when you add an emboss filter to the painted layer
Here I duplicated the emboss layer. one had multiply the other divide:
