This is a cute and funny picture, I hope that it will be found and liked by many. 
I don’t know much about the character, but if you wanted to go for a shy impression, that comes across very well.
Somehow I’m not good at compliments anymore this time of the day, so I’ll instead start with the critique you also wished for. 
I wonder if the pose is correct. 
Don’t the lower arms collide with the upper legs? What is she doing with her hands? Are the feet resting on solid ground? (The ground/shadow is not visible - but the pose does not look like she is sitting in the pink flower frame with the legs hanging down.)
Don’t get me wrong, this is not realism, and it is not something affecting the picture much, but the pose is maybe the only thing I notice could be improved.
