Using the pipette for the Select Shape Tool

Hello, I’m new to Krita so I’m still getting the hang of things. I’m having some trouble with vector tools since changing the stroke and fill color doesn’t seem convenient since it doesn’t look like I can use the pipette to select a color directly from the image (even though you can with the Text tool and ofc most other tools).

You only get a color selector and palettes. Seeing as I’m mixing a lot of colors on this project I don’t think I have to mention how inconvenient adding every new color to a palette is. Is there another way I’m too stupid to notice or is this really it?

Wow you are right!

Is that a bug? Or was that never implemented . @abhifx what do you think? I don’t work that often with vector tools in krita. I know that foreground color is the fill and the background color is the border.

I also dont use vector much but I tried it and definitely feels like something either not implemented or buggy.

The Ctrl(+) key activated colour sampler is only activated when using the raster painting tools.

The main ‘Sample a colour …’ (Pipette) tool does work to sample colours on a vector layer.

So this seems to be a lack of implementation for some reason.
