When we make normal brushes, we can have them affected by pressure or fade in the brush customization. I can use a bezier curve on a paint layer to get the desired result, but then I can’t adjust the stroke after it’s made. With vector strokes, I don’t see an option like this. Is this just the current limitation with vectors or is there a way to achieve this that I am missing? Thank you!

Line stroke variation with a vector shape is possible with some vector artwork applications (I’ve forgotten which ones) and it uses some of the more ‘advanced’ SVG specifications.
Krita doesn’t implement many of the more advanced SVG specifications.
Maybe one day?
Yea, I can do it in inkscape/illustrator. I didn’t think it was available in Krita but I wanted to make sure I hadn’t missed an option or tool combo somewhere. Thank you for responding!
