Hello I have a problem. I want to render a gif but this appears:
Then I tried an mpeg 4 video but this error box appeared:
I already tried to update the ffmpeg and it still doesn’t render well.

Finally, export all the frames and paste them into a new krita file, I rendered and this time it worked (video and gif).

Does that mistake that appeared at the beginning know why it happened?
I don’t know why that krita error happened in your first picture and your animation looks fine as shown on the screen.
Did you actually update ffmpeg and run with a newer version later on?
The animated .gif problem is because you were using a transparent background. FFmpeg can’t handle transparency in .gifs and it makes it black (not a problem) and makes ghosts (a problem) as you can see.
Exporting all the frames and putting them into a new file should not make any difference so it may be that you’d updated ffmpeg or changed some other settings for rendering.
The VLC error may be related to that. Use of a frame rate lower than about 5fps used to cause problems for me in the past (about a year ago) but it seems to be ok now. I don’t know if that is due to a VLC or an ffmpeg improvement.
It’s ok now so I hope it continues to be ok for you with future animated .kra files.
