View on monitor while working on tablet?

Intel NUC, with Huion 13 tablet
Brand and version of the device:
System** :Windows 11 Pro

Description of the issue: I would like to view action in the Krita UI on my large main monitor while using the stylus on the video tablet. I’ve seen David Revoy drawing on a “blank” tablet while viewing his work on a larger monitor. How could I set this up or something similar?

Which video did you see?

Hello,
I’m on Linux so I can’t confirm, but I’m pretty sure it is on the Huion Driver Software.

Connect the monitor and the Tablet Display onto your PC, then open the Tablet Software. You should see the display itself as a monitor, you can then choose you tablet to draw in the other monitor instead of the Display itself.

There are a couple of instances on this URL:Tag hardware - David Revoy

From what I understand, those “screen off” tablet are non-screen tablet.
But in this blog, a comment did suggest him using a cintiq (screen tablet) with monitor off

Don’t know if it’s possible to turn off screen on your tablet. Maybe mirror the main monitor to the tablet and look to the big screen if it cannot turn off?

I did get a satisfactory solution by duplicating my screens. The tablet runs the program “live” and the monitor shows it a a good size. Thank you four your help.

Hi,

It’s possible on a Huion Kamvas 13, but the workaround is not clearly documented.

To do so, you’ll have to :
-Turn off your screen tablet
-Unplug and replug
-select the display you want in the driver utilities

Note that it doesn’t work on a Kamvas Pro 13 (wich is a different model, despite the similar name)

Yes, I’d say that this is the solution for this thread. A sceen tablet is an actual screen. So for the setup you want, then duplicating the screens will do the trick.
