Wacom One Pen doesn't align with cursor

Type of device* : graphics tablet
Brand and version of the device: Wacom One DTC133
System** : Windows 11 Home

* graphics tablet/display tablet/2-in-1 laptop/Android tablet
** Windows/Linux/Mac/Android, + version (you’ll find it in Help -> Show system information for bug reports)

Description of the issue (you can include screenshots): Whenever I open up a new Canvas in Krita (Ver. 5.2.1) my Wacom Pen (I do not know the exact model - it came along with my Bamboo One) detatches by about 3mm from the cursor. Resetting my driver and returning to default pen settings didn’t fix the issue. It also reverts back to perfect alignment as soon as I close Krita and doesn’t occur within any other program.

Maybe the hi dpi setting can help if it is off ?

Thanks for the tip but it’s on. Maybe there’s something in the tablet setting that’ll fix it but I am not very knowledgeable in that department yet so I have no idea what to try :sweat_smile:

:slight_smile: Hello @Nairna, and welcome to the forum!

If you have your tablet configured as second monitor, then please try to assign it as first monitor instead. In Windows 10, the dialog to set this up can be found under Display settings after you have right-clicked on a free area of the monitor (another way to open it is to open Windows Start Menu, choose Settings, choose System, then, if it is not selected by default, choose Display on the left side to open this dialog).
In the dialog that opens, click on the monitor that is your tablet, i.e. if it is not monitor 1, and then check Use this display as the main display it is found way down, nearly at the bottom of the page.

With a little luck, this solves your issue.

Hi, and thank you. I really appreciate the help.

For the time being it seems to have been solved by changing the pen input from custom mapping to the standard Windows Ink but if it occurs again I’ll try your solution.
