I hope this is the correct topic for this question, sorry if it isn’t.
I just bought the wacom one pen for the tablet as people were recommending it and while the sensitivity of the wacom pen has much more range, I find that it doesn’t feel as good when drawing on the screen.
With the S pen there’s some resistance when drawing, but with the wacom, it feels like I’m just gliding it on glass and honestly feels like I’m going to damage the screen. I was wondering if there’s any way around this? I’m using a galaxy tab s9 ultra.
Usually you can get different nibs for Wacom pens, so you should probably look for felt tip pens, for your pen model, if the pen currently is gliding too fast/lightly, I guess.
Do you think felt would be best? I did a google search and the Google ai seemed to think it would damage the screen because of how hard the nibs are. But I’m not sure how reliable the ai thing is, it’s been confidently wrong for me before.
Have you had any experience with felt nibs on a glass screen like on the galaxy tablet?
No, my tablets always had a plastic surface and no display. But if yours is really out of glass, then felt should not harm it. For me felt tips have a good effect slowing down the strokes a little in comparison to the hard plastic nibs that glide far too easy.
Maybe some other users can step in here and give advice on that?
Hello community, we need your support!
I just read that the Wacom elastomer nibs were supposedly specifically designed for glass screen tablets. So I went ahead and bought those. Quite pricey though. Cost me around £15.
If I can remember to, I will come back here with an update on the feeling of the new nibs on the glass tablet.
