Want to save a loop animation on krita

hi I am learning how to make an animation on Krita. I would like to save what I have done on a loop so it plays for more than a few times on playback on Quicktime or equvalent…

Can someone please show me how I can do this?
I havent found a solution!

Thanks

Export animation… As a gif…?

Or use a player like VLC, that has looping as an option.

I’m pretty sure that GIF and APNG are the only “video” (actually image) formats that have a native loop option you can set in the file itself. For everything else it is just the video player that does the looping.

Correct.

The WebP Image output format has a Loop Animation option but make sure the Image Quality is set to 100% or you’ll get obvious compression artifacts.
The WebP Image format has the advantage that it will autoplay, with the browsers I’ve tried.

Just drag the file onto a new browser tab (or Open it with the browser) to see if any particular format will autoplay.
