The color selector in the current popup palette is too fancy. So fancy that I really can’t use it.
The color triangle rotates along with hue. I’ve never seen this kind of design, and in my opinion it’s extremely impractical.
The color history is not in chronological order. It seems to be in chromatic order. Again I’ve never seen this kind of fancy design.
I really don’t understand why it can’t just work like the plain old Advanced Color Selector:
I’m sure there are some users who love the fancy popup palette. But could we at least have an option to replace it with something like Advanced Color Selector?
In configure krita - pop up palette, change the colour selector to wide gamut selector. And the colour selector can become like your advanced colour selector. The shape of the colour selector. The colour history still the same thou
I agree that the pop up palette is not very functional.
To me the color selector in the palette is too small to be usable. I also use the quick color selector i put mine on w.
The quick history(show color history) is chronological.Though using the quick history is kinda impossible for me as the way it’s implemented it takes the size of the history in the advanced color selector since i have mine very small there it’s kinda impossible for me to select colors in a fast way cause it keeps getting hidden ( i even added in my “proposals to improve krita” thread that the sizes should be separate)

It’s obviously a bad design. As a workaround, you could make the color history show two columns. This way it’s far, far less likely to be accidentally hidden.
