Hi all! I was wondering if anyone on here was experienced with webcomics, and if so, how do you go about editing?
I have a little experiment comic that quickly got out of hand into a large-scale story, and I drew up the thumbnail for the first chapter (a rough sketch) and would like to know – if necessary – how to find and receive unbiased feedback outside of family/friends, and what level of editing is required for a webcomic? If I chose to share this comic, I would like to be able not to have any spoilers freely available.
Also, how do you even make a title card when your knowledge of vector boils down to it’s very hard, and no pixels.
Interestingly the most web comics I read nowadays don’t even have a story and are mostly just unconnected shorts or comic strips. I’d say anything goes since there’s an audience for pretty much everything. If you think you have something worth sharing (and even if not) I say go for it! Don’t think too much about it being not “professional” enough or whatever. People like the weirdest stuff for different reasons and I’m sure there’s an audience for your comic too.
By audience I mean anybody reading your work willingly.
Eventually, the closer the people are, the quicker they are fed up with my work and giving me feedback
