As some of you may have noticed the website was down for about an hour.
This was due to a broken update during routine website maintenance update. Three plugins we have been using are now included in the official discourse releases. This lead to duplicate plugins and the update failed leaving the website offline.
The plugins that are now official are

I am really sorry for the inconvenience caused due to this outage. Please let me know if you find any other issues.
You may have noticed a new ‘A’ icon in the editor. This is a new rich text editor. You can switch to the markdown editor by clicking that icon and you will get the mark down editor with a rich text preview on the side like earlier
That is good to know, since I like Markdown better. And perhaps it helps to let me use my Firefox again, because at the moment my Firefox stops responding when I open the rich text editor, and I’m writing the initial part of this posting and wrote the posting before to @dplushie in LibreWolf. But now I change over to FF to see:
And, oh wonder, switching to Markdown let me use Firefox again.

Add/Edit: Good to always have a fallback.
And thank you for the update!
Firefox :
Like Michelist, firefox stop responding with the new text editor.
I couldn’t post anything and when I clicked on the A button but it doesn’t switch to the markdow editor.
I also had some problem with the menu, I needed to open a new onglet for accessing the deconnect button at some point.
Close your Firefox, if not otherwise possible, even via your task manager.
Now open the forum editor in another browser, switch to Markdown and begin writing a post, now, without posting it into the forum, open Firefox and the Krita-Artist topic with your begun posting, the page should open with the now to Markdown switched editor and will work again. That was the way I resurrected my Firefox at KA.
Interestingly, the button to open the portfolio pages are removed from the dialog windows that open when you click on an avatar. I guess I must be very unlucky if the last 15+ users where I checked that dialog all have disabled their portfolio …
@raghukamath needs to look into this, but perhaps he had to disable it because of some issue for the time it needs to be fixed?! @raghukamath, can you please check what happened to the view of the user-portfolios, like @Mythmaker and me mentioned here:
User portfolio was not part of the plugin system it was separated from a plugin and included as a theme component. And I now see that there is a new official theme component for it. I will research more about this and try to implement it.
Sorry for the inconvenience, I should have tested this before doing the update.
@Mythmaker and @Michelist I reported this issue to the developer of this component and they fixed the issues. Refresh and reload the page and now you should see the portfolio section and the button.
