Honestly, even if we merged the Marker pull request verbatim, as it is today, with zero changes and without the templating support for combining alpha and color blend modes..
It would still be a useful feature, we could still merge the alpha changes later, we’d just swap out the other implementation for the new version and give it the same name. I don’t see a lot of danger here, I’m not sure there’s a lot of risk in terms of UX or design of messing anything up by merging either of these. It seems fairly straightforward to expand on both of these in the future if we get agreement and interest in doing so.
