Lets post art using the new marker blender mode (nightly next build)

I was experimenting with it ( Wet Alpha - new blending mode - #122 by Drawpile? ) and I am looking forward to being able to create a piece to share and discuss the mode’s usefulness and maybe make a video of the process.

So far i am using the opacity shortcut a lot with it (combined with low pen pressure opacity (which i like to have a minimum at the lowest so not 0). . I like toggling between 2 identical brush that have different sizes for stroke size variation. opacity changes helps achieve precise color mixing (of sorts).

How to use it :Feedback Wanted: Marker Mode

This is false. The MyPaint brush engine does not have this feature, it always uses “Normal and Eraser” blending with the build-up paint mode. If you keep brushing over the same area with the brush you mentioned, be it within the same or multiple strokes, it will build up opacity. The Marker blend mode in build-up paint mode does not build up opacity.

I don’t intend to get into some kind of discussion here, but to avoid others reading this and getting confused by more wrong information: the paint mode page in the brush editor explains what build-up means, it’s not related to the brush emitting dabs over time. Nor is the color blending in Marker mode any different to Normal.
